2012 PROGRAMS TO REWARD TEAMS WITH CASH AND PRODUCT
The National Softball Association in Northern Indiana (NSA) is very proud to announce several new and some continued programs for the 2012 season. The biggest addition will benefit league teams that win their respective league championship. Tournament teams will have opportunities to win "CASH" as every 2012 NSA event, ranging from payouts of $50.00 per team up to $150.00 per team.

TYJA Sports is providing a "First of its Kind" package for up to 173 league champion teams. Each league champion will be awarded a certificate worth up to $200.00 to be applied toward a set of team uniforms. Leagues that are included in this awesome opportunity are: Auburn, CCAC (Warsaw), Hidden Lake (Merrillville), Highland, La Porte, Kendallville, Kokomo, Michigan City, Muncie Sportsplex, Peru, Portage, and Richmond.
This package has a total value of up to $34,600.00

The Buffalo Wild Wings Series returns for its 2nd year and we are happy to announce that the Kokomo Buffalo Wild Wings is part of the series. There will be a total of seven (7) legs for 2012 being played in Kokomo, Muncie (Double Point), CCAC Warsaw, La Porte, Portage, Michigan City (Double Points), and the North States being played at CCAC and Kokomo. At every event there will be %50.00 per team per class given as Travel Funds upon conclusion of each tournament. As in 2011, teams will accumulate points with the top three (3) teams in Class C, D, & E earning travel funds to be used toward the NSA Super Regionals. the top three (3) in each class may also earn points good for travel money for going to the local Buffalo Wild Wings the day of the series. Points and bonus points will be awarded for the teams with more than eight (8) players in uniform at the local Buffalo Wild Wings. The Super Regional Travel funds for 2012 will be: 1st place - $575.00 + up to $100.00 for bonus points, 2nd place - $450.00 + up to $100.00 for bonus points, and 3rd place $350.00 + up to $100.00 for bonus points.
TOTAL PAYOUT FOR SUPER REGIONALS IS $5,025.00

The newest tournament addition for the 2012 season is the Majestic Star Casino Series. This is an event open to class "D" & "E" teams for 2012. there will be four (4) legs that will seed into a Championship tournament. there will be two (2) legs played in Highland and Two in Merrillville (Hidden Lake). Each leg will be limited to 24 teams (12 "D" & 12"E"). Entry fee for each leg is $250.00. Teams will play a 3 game round robin on Saturday and return on Sunday for a single elimination bracket. Every team will be guaranteed FOUR (4) games! The winning teams in "D" & "E" will receive $50.00 per team while the runner-up will will receive $25.00 per team. Assuming there are 12 teams in each class, the winner will receive $600.00 and the runner-up $300.00. Points will be awarded for order of finish at each leg with the final leg being a double point event. The top six (6) teams in each class will return for a double elimination Championship Event. There will be "NO" entry fee for the teams that advance to the Championship Event. The winning team in Class "D" and "E" will receive up to 12 FREE NIGHTS at the Majestic Star Hotel and up to 12 certificates good for two (2) at Don B's Steakhouse at the Majestic Star Casino. Each winning team will aslo have their own $1,000.00 entry fee for the 2013 Majestic Star Series PAID! For all legs of this series, The Majestic Star Hotel is offering rooms for the teams at a rate of $49.00 per night! Assuming each leg is full:

The 4th Annual Buffalo Wild Wings Super CA$H Classic (formally sponsored by Tom Thumb) returns to Northwest Park in Kokomo June 1-3, 2012. The entry fee will be $275.00 and as in the past, $150.00 per team will be returned as Travel Funds to the teams with 1st place - $80.00, 2nd place - $40.00, and 3rd place - $30.00. In addition, the Kokomo Buffalo Wild Wings will provide discounts on select food and beverage items for all players in uniform. The Buffalo Wild Wings Classic will have a men's class B/C, D & E. We will also offer a women's tournament this year!

Depending on the number of teams that participate in 2012 NSA Northern Indiana Events and the package being offered to league teams, the total payout in cash and merchandise could exceed
$65,000.00!!
