Welcome to the 2011 NSA Adult season. Whether you are a league umpire or a tournament umpire, you are in for a great season with all of the new things initiated for teams in 2011. I expect that all of you have brushed up on the existing rules and studied the new rules. If you have any questions please get in touch with me, and I will try and make them as clear as possible. Remember, whether league or tournament, there is no difference in your umpiring standards. The teams deserve our best, and that is what we need to strive for. I will be getting the tournament list together and sending it out next week. I will also post the list on this page, with Mike Hagy’s assistance. Remember, this is only who has signed up for these tournaments. There is no way of knowing the numbers of teams, so therefore the number of umpires may change as well. As always, I will notify you beforehand and assign who is where. If you see a tournament that still has some availability, or you have a weekend you are looking to fill, please contact me as soon as possible. Another reminder, before traveling out of our area (Northern Indiana) you must first contact myself so everything in our area is covered. Also, no soliciting your desire to travel to other areas, as we will be going from a travel list. Good luck to all of you, be safe, and have a great year.
